Richard III Theater Tickets

Fans of Shakespeare won’t want to miss their chance to see Richard III, an all-male production. The play is set around 1593 and the stage is lit almost entirely by candles emitting a soft glow on the stage. Amid the warm lighting, you’ll hear music played live on traditional Elizabethan instruments. Pick up your Richard III tickets to immerse yourself in one of Shakespeare’s most exciting and tragic tales.

The plot follows Richard, the Duke of Gloucester. This man believes he should wear the crown of England, and nothing will get in the way of that happening. In fact, he has already gotten rid of two people in line for the crown - the king and the king’s son. But that leaves Richard with four other people to deal with. Two brothers and two nephews stand in his way of the crown and Richard will do anything from scheme and lie to manipulate and murder in order to get what he wants.

Before the performance even begins, audience members will have the chance to see the cast participate in a traditional pre-show ritual. The actors actually get dressed and do their makeup by candlelight right on stage for everyone to see as music plays in the background.
