This concert was outstanding, of course Red Rocks is the ultimate venue. My only complaint was the woman in seat 1 row 22 WHO NEVER SHUT UP. It this chick was your date, then PLEASE take her to the mall next time where she belongs so she can talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk.

He walked on stage and immediately started playing.. It moved me to tears.. I cried and had chill bumps pretty much throughout the entire show. His voice is perfect and so full of emotion. It was so much more than I had imagined!

Ray LaMontagne -Heart where his guts are
By heap of fish from restaurant on the edge of the universe on 10/29/2008
Pros:
Crowd Was In To It, Great Sound, Perfect Set List
Best For:
Adults

The man can pour it out from the bottom of his soul. Traveling with a set of musicians that are their own, he presents what he has in a clear and refreshing low-key style that belies the grit in his voice. A must attend- but skip the opening act (we were hoping for a yeti to run out and drag her screaming from the stage...)

The Paramount Theatre in Austin was a perfect venue for any concert. The seating was great & the sound was intense in the historic theatre.

Ray LaMontagne Concert Tickets

With a gravelly voice and a songwriting ability that harkens back to Bob Dylan, Ray LaMontagne has emerged as one of the most talented performers around. Since bursting on the scene in the early 2000s, the New Hampshire native has deftly blended elements of folk, rock and blues, resulting in Ray LaMontagne tickets remaining popular among his loyal fan base.

LaMontagne's first tried his hand at performing around 1999 and 2000, but he did not make a name for himself until the 2004 release of his debut album Trouble. The record was an immediate hit thanks in large part to the melancholy hit "Jolene" along with the popular title track.

After his debut, LaMontagne continued to rise in popularity with the release of his 2006 follow-up Till the Sun Turns Black and 2008's Gossip in the Grain, which features what is arguably his most well-known song, "You Are the Best Thing."

More recently, LaMontagne has been doing work with his band The Pariah Dogs, and he released a self-produced album in 2010. Whether alone on stage or with talented musicians surrounding him, LaMontagne's performances have a reputation of being crowd pleasers and he's sure to continue that for years to come.
