This was by far one of the best shows I have ever been too. This set was way better than the one they played in Seattle a couple of months before.

Queens of the Stone Age Concert Tickets

Queens of the Stone Age was formed in the 1990s after the demise of Homme's former stoner-rock band Kyuss. The group was founded by singer/guitarist Josh Homme, who moved to Seattle and began working with a variety of musicians. He recruited Alfredo Hernandez on drums, Nick Oliveri on bass and Dave Catching on keyboard/guitar. Queens of the Stone Age tickets are sure to sell quickly so don't miss out!

Before the band was known by its current name, they released Gamma Ray. The 1996 album featured songs like "Born to Hula" and "If Only Everything." Josh Homme, the drummer from Pearl Jam and Soundgarden, Matt Kameron, Van Conner, and John McBain headed out on their first tour in 1997, following it up with their first official EP under their new Queens of the Stone Age name. The album featured former work from Gamma Ray and Kyuss.

By the middle of 2000, the band released two albums and played Ozzfest. Hernandez soon left the band, but the void was filled by tag team duo, Gene Troutman and Nicky Lucero. Queens of the Stone Age garnered some attention after a feature in Rolling Stone magazine, and really made it big after the release of No One Knows. For their third album in 2002, Songs for the Deaf, the band invited Dave Grohl to join them after he was vocal about his admiration for the group's music. That year, though, Oliveri was fired from the group and Homme took full control.

The 2005 album, Lullabies to Paralyze, was an ambitious record. It reached No. 5 on the charts and the single "Little Sister" went to No. 3 on the Modern Rock Chart. Queens of the Stone Age recorded an album in 2012 and brought back in Dave Grohl as well as Mark Lanegan, Trent Reznor, Jake Shears, and Elton John and Nick Oliveri for features on the album.

In 2013, the band signed with Matador and the ...Like Clockwork album was released. Don't miss your chance to see Queens of the Stone Age LIVE! Buy your Queens of the Stone Age tickets today!
