Since it debuted in Sydney in 2006, the musical adaptation of the popular film has made its way to many cities around the world. The story follows a pair of drag queens and a transsexual woman who are in the process of making their way across the Australian desert in their bus, which they nicknamed Priscilla. It may seem like an easy enough task at first, but their journey is beset by a number of challenges that make it extremely difficult to get to their final destination.
