Portugal. The Man Concert Tickets

Flying under the mainstream radar since 2003, Portugal The Man produces the kind of music that transcends genres and labels. Fusing styles as diverse as rock, folk, indie, progressive, electronic and elements of hip hop, the group's sound takes its listeners on a journey that is highly experimental in nature, yet oddly familiar. If you enjoy discovering unique forms of musical expression, buy your Portugal The Man tickets today.

Hailing from the outskirts of Wasilla, Alaska, childhood friends John Gourley (vocals/lead guitar) and Zachary Carothers (bass guitarist) went down to Portland, Oregon to complete the band that became Portugal The Man. The group's unique sound takes its inspiration from life in the Alaskan wilderness, a deep-seeded love of science fiction and a desire to make music people have never heard before.

In 2010, the band signed to Atlantic Records, and began producing studio albums with the Grammy Award-winning Andy Wallace. Wallace has mixed of the records of Rush, Nirvana, Paul McCartney and At the Drive-in. Since their inception, Portugal The Man has produced several studio albums. Each one is a singular artistic expression that is separate from its predecessors. By refusing to retrace their creative footsteps, they continue to forge ahead into uncharted territories, with songs like 2009's "People Say," and 2013's "Purple, Yellow, Red and Blue," and "Evil Friends," which have all appeared in Billboard's Top 40 chart for Adult Alternative Albums.
