Pink Martini Concert Tickets

Pink Martini's sound doesn't fit neatly into one specific musical genre, and the group's fan base loves it. The band has been compared to Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Squirrel Nut Zipper, and Cherry Poppin' Daddies, but they have an even bigger list of influences. Pink Martini, whose music embodies jazz, swing, world, cabaret and lounge music, was formed in 1994 by pianist Thomas M. Lauderdale, and Pink martini tickets have been popular ever since.

Lauderdale, the originator of the band hired China Forbes as the band's lead vocalist and songwriter. They met while both attending Harvard University in the late 1980s. To get a glimpse of this band's musical stylings, don't miss out on Pink Martini tickets.

Forbes performs in at least 10 different languages including Spanish, Italian, French, Greek and others, in addition to English. Other band members include Gavin Bondy on trumpet, Robert Taylor on trombone, Nicholas Crosa on violin, Phil Baker on acoustic bass, Brian Lavern Davis on percussion and drums, Timothy Nishimoto on vocals and percussion, and Derek Rieth and Martin Zarzar on percussion.

Pink Martin's debut album, Sympathique, was released on their independent label, Heinz Records in 1997. Their next two albums, Hang on Little Tomato and Hey Eugene!, were also recorded on the label. In 2009, they released a concert DVD, and a year later released a holiday album.
