Phish Concert Tickets

Whether you are a phan, phriend or just a person who loves loose grooves and tight existential jams, seeing Phish LIVE is a must. Rolling Stone Magazine stated that Phish helped to "“... spawn a new wave of bands oriented around group improvisation and super extended grooves.” With lead singer and guitarist Trey Anastasio at the helm, the Vermont-based group has become known for their impressive musical level of skill. Their ability to craft extended jams is among the best in history, making Phish tickets must haves of the summer concert season.

Anastasio first teamed up with his bandmates in 1983 while they were all attending the University of Vermont. It wasn't long before they added a fourth member and started to enjoy a substantial fan following. They recorded their self titled debut album in 1986, and released a string of records throughout the latter half of the decade.

By the mid-1990s, Phish had become a household name. With a sound similar to Bob Dylan, their shows became must-see events. In perhaps their most famous performance, Phish took the stage just before midnight on Dec. 31, 1999, and welcomed the new millennium by playing for about eight hours. Jamming together for over 30 years, Phish unofficially parted ways in 2004. In 2009 Trey Anastasio, Mike Gordon, Jon Fishman and Page McConnell reunited for three shows. Phish tickets for the shows were snatched up, and they played to a sold out audience, resuming their former touring activities.

In the years since, Phish has remained one of the most popular jam bands around and they've been together for more than 30 years. Normally billed as a single act, Phish has played with the likes of the Violent Femmes and Carlos Santana as well as at the first annual H.O.R.D.E. festival. Like the Grateful Dead shows before them, each Phish show is a moment in history with a shifting set list that never repeats.

Blending elements of jazz, psychedelic rock, funk, bluegrass, reggae, country and blues, Phish produced adventurous, ever-changing music. Well-known for extended jams, improvisation and musical exploration, Phish thrived with relatively little radio play or mainstream exposure. The number of LIVE recordings and sales topped 8 million albums and DVDs in the United States alone. The band flourished through word of mouth by a dedicated following of phans. Picking up Phish tickets is still sure to give fans a memorable time. Buy your Phish tickets before they sell out!
