Best For:
New To The Sport

I grew up in Cleveland and wanted to see my home-team in my new home, Philadelphia. I'm a huge King James fan and he delivered as usual. Unfortunately it was just a pre-season game so he didn't play at all in the last 15 minutes or so. Sadly, I think pre-season games are a total rip-off and waste of time for everybody. These players are litterally paid millions to play a child's game and I want to see real games for my hard earned pay. But pre-season is the only way I can afford good seats so I gotta do what I can (at least my wife and kids can say they saw King James live in his prime!). I was also very annoyed by the bombarment of advertising in the Wachovia Center and felt like a dope - I shelled out big bucks so that advertisers could blast me with constant ads. And every time-out was like a high-energy bar mitzvah; a little too loud for my tastes - I came to see a basketball game not a kids party. I think I like me sports on Tivo, where's the fast-forward button at the Wachovia Center[...]I guess I'm old school and just wish the game was the main attraction. I went to a Cavs game in Cleveland 2 years ago and remember being annoyed by all the kid stuff - I guess that's just the way it is these days. Bring back the short shorts and the chest pass...........

First Luxury Box Seats Experience

Atrocious Food for 372, New To The Sport

The Wachovia centers Suites were birthday gifts to my 2 brothers. The suite itself is fabulous, BUT, the demented pricng for really really really bad (and cold) food, reduced our first experience from an "11" rating, way down to a "3" I feel sorry for those employees who depend on tips from the food - You need to form a union to stop the way overpriced, yet yet still awful, and I do mean awful, food Waiting for a response Brian

Everyone, Family oriented too

Was dissapointed that there was no video of us on the jumbo television to buy :(

Originally the Philadelphia 76ers, then the Syracuse Nationals, made their rounds on the basketball circuit as an independent team starting in 1939. In 1946 the franchise joined the National Basketball League. When the Nationals jumped ship in Syracuse, New York, to head to Philadelphia, a contest was held in order to determine the new team’s name. After much consideration, the team was changed to the “76ers” after the Declaration of Independence signing of 1776. Three years later in 1949, the team joined the NBA.
