Pepperdine Basketball Tickets

The Pepperdine Waves is a basketball team in the West Coast Conference of the Division I National Collegiate Athletic Association. The team is fielded by Pepperdine University, located in Malibu, California. The basketball team has been sponsored by the University for over 75 years; at the point of its inception, Pepperdine’s campus was based in Los Angeles. The Waves are a storied program; though the team holds no NCAA title, it has made 26 postseason appearances including 13 in the NCAA March Madness tournament. With an exciting team each year and a beautiful location adjacent to the Pacific Ocean, Pepperdine basketball tickets make a great gift for the basketball fan in your life.

Pepperdine basketball is infamous for “the streak,” a period between 1991 and 1993 when the organization racked up 38 consecutive wins against West Coast Conference teams. The program has also produced a handful of professional players, perhaps none more notable than Doug Christie. The 17th overall pick by the Seattle Supersonics in the 1992 NBA Draft, Christie had a 15-year career in the NBA. A journeyman during that time, he suited up for the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks, Toronto Raptors, Sacramento Kings, Orlando Magic, Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Clippers. Christie was named to the NBA’s All-Defensive Team four times and made 1,555 steals during his career.
