Paul Anka Concert Tickets

This Canadian singer, songwriter and actor was born on July 30, 1941, in Ottawa. He took a liking to music from an early age, singing in his church choir and studying piano. By 14, he was stealing the family car to drive to amateur singing contests in nearby Hull and Quebec, before finding success in 1950 as a teenage singing star. Several years later, he became a successful performer, songwriter, recording artist and music businessman. Don't miss your chance to see this legendary singer and get your Paul Anka tickets now.

In 1957, Anka scored a meeting with Don Costa, the Artist & Repertoire man for ABC-Paramount Records. Anka played him several songs, including one called "Diana," which Costa was especially excited about. Of course, the ballad became his first number one hit and brought him enormous success. By 1961, Anka had more than 125 compositions under his belt, his own record label called Spanka and the recognition of being behind the second best selling single of all time, "White Christmas," which outsold "Diana." In 2009, it was revealed that Anka co-wrote Michael Jackson's No. 1 worldwide hit, "This Is It," which has helped solidify his position as one of the most versatile and prolific songwriters of any generation.
