took wife to patti labelle concert for first time, I had bragged on her for years on givin a great concert. We had seen over 30 artist on stage I have even sung on stage wit patti la belle but this concert in nap was a waist of my time an money I drove 119 miles to see her an she was on stage for almost 30 min and could not see her from the upper level, very dissapointed don't wnt to by anymore ticket until I'm sure patti knows her place

PATTI, PATTI.. What Happened.. We understand that it was a little CHILLY out there But, You should have had HEATERS on the stage like most Artists do for outdoor concerts Ummm..(ie: ARETHA was just there and had heaters). Who ever your help is, should be fired. If I remember correctly the last time you were here at the Bowl There was a mix up in the kind of concert you were doing.. FIRE THE HELP. WE pay toooooo much money for all those EXCUSES And Patti It's not the first time.No More Patti tickets for me..SORRY PATTI...
Concert at the Hollywood Bowl on 8/18/09. Patti came out and sang a good one "New Attitude" with gusto - but then it got strange. Her opening comments to the crowd were about how freezing cold she was. It was about 65 degrees - not so cold! One of her people went and got her a shawl. She did a few more songs, but her back up singers (and music director/piano man) were turned up louder than her voice. Hard to hear Patti. Mabye not singing? Next, she complained her feet hurt. Changed her shoes mid-stage in front of the audience. Must not have been the right shoes - mid song, she kicked those shoes off. Another person brought out a pair of flats. These remained on. Did a number featuring two of her back up singers, and Patti wandered aimlessly at the rear of the stage. Brought up another back-up singer (tall, big lady with an amazing voice) and Patti became a back up singer for this one. She was still cold - so they brought out a pair of gloves. One more song where you could clearly hear back up singers and piano/band - but Patti? Not so much. Still cold - someone brought out something long and flowing made of black fabric. Patti exited stage right and came back a few moments later, now wearing piatzzo (wide legged) pants under her dress. Last song - was amazing - the only time she really took her voice out and let us hear the strength and range. Then the concer was over. Entertaining but very disappointing if you were a BIG Patti Labelle fan and wanted to hear her sing.
show was grate and our seets were very good thak you so much but it was difficult to get tickets because i can not speak english well ( i am a japanes speaker)
