Paquita La Del Barrio Concert Tickets

Paquita La Del Barrio, also known as Francisca Viveros Barradas, is an accomplished and well known Mexican singer. She has a beautiful voice that makes her stand out, but it’s her lyrics that really set her apart as an artist. Her songs commonly take a stance against a sexist male culture, which is why she is sometimes referred to as "the defender of women." See this empowering singer take the stage by getting your Paquita La Del Barrio tickets.

Paquita was always asked to sing in school festivals by her teachers, which is the first venue in which she publicly put her voice on display and how she got her start with music. She recorded her first album in 1984, The Neighborhood of Lanterns, and continued to grow in her career by making an appearance on the television show Today Self in 1985. On the show, she performed the song "Lights Lamp."

Some of Paquita’s most powerful and famous tracks include "Rata De Dos Patas," "The Knee," "Three Times I Cheated," "Las Mujeres Mandan," "The Last Stop" and "Evil Men," most of which continue her theme of standing up to sexism. Another song that brewed up interest among the community was "You and I" which she recorded in 2009 with Ricardo Arjona, a Guatemalan singer.
