Papa Roach Concert Tickets

In 1993, in the small Northern California town of Vacaville, four high school friends - Jerry Horton, Jacoby Shaddix, Dave Buckner and Will James - formed the band Papa Roach. By 1996, the group had replaced original bassist Will James with Tobin Esperance and hired a new manager. The following year, they released their first full-length album, Old Friends from Young Years, which became an instant hit on mainstream radio. As the band became more successful, they added gigs with groups like Sevendust, Suicidal Tendencies and Powerman 5000 to their tour schedule. They also closed a deal with Dreamworks Records, which released Papa Roach's second album, Infest, in early 2000. The album went triple platinum due to the success of the single "Last Resort." By 2002, the band's sound had evolved from its rap-rock roots, and showcased a slightly more mature, melodic and straightforward hard rock sound.

Papa Roach released their fourth studio album in 2004, Getting Away with Murder. The single on the record, "Scars," boosted the album to platinum status. In 2006, Papa Roach began working at the infamous and historical Paramour mansion in Hollywood. They released The Paramour Sessions that same year, featuring a heavy L.A. rock aesthetic.
