Pageant of the Masters Tickets
There's no art exhibit quite like the Pageant of the Masters. The annual Laguna Beach, California, event is a unique combination of live action theater and classic and contemporary paintings, a spectacle which has become quite famous over the last several decades. Anybody who purchases Pageant of the Masters tickets is sure to come away amazed.

The presentation, which is part of the larger Festival of Arts, garners national attention for the re-envisioning works of art. Organizers re-create famous paintings and sculptures using live actors and elaborate stages to bring the works to life. The pageant hits California for eight weeks each summer and runs for 90-minute shows and is complete with everything from narration to music from a professional orchestra.

The idea for the unique celebration of art and theater began back in 1933, the year after the first Festival of Arts, thanks to the work of artist and vaudevillian Lolita Perine. She convinced area residents to dress up in costume to resemble artwork, and the idea took off. Today, volunteers contribute more than 60,000 hours to help make the popular event a success.
