Overkill Concert Tickets

If you're a fan of thrash metal music, the band Overkill is a must-see. Formed in New Jersey in 1984, they are made up of vocalist Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth, bassist and backing vocalist D.D. Verni, lead guitarist and backing vocalist Dave Linsk, rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist Derek Tailer and drummer Ron Lipnicki. Purchase your Overkill tickets to hear first-hand the group's raw power and precision.

Since their inception, Overkill has gained a reputation for brutal, pounding speed and technique. They garnered a strong following after releasing the albums Taking Over, in 1985, and Under the Influence, in 1988. Previous band member Bobby Gustafson quit in 1989 and was replaced by Rob Cannavino and Merritt Gant. In 1992, the group recorded one of its most popular and varied albums called Horrorscope, which included tracks like "Coma," "Blood Money" and "New Machine."

There hardcore sound ranks among the likes of Megadeath, Pantera and Metallic. It wasn't until 1994 that Overkill's final major label release, W.F.O, came out. After its release, the band moved to CMC International, having added a new guitar team of Joe Comeau and Sebastian Marino. They recorded the album The Killing Kind, which was released in 1996, and From the Underground and Below, which came out in 1997.
