Seven men make up this country band. Kevin Hayes is in charge of the guitjo and vocals; Cory Younts on the keyboards, drums, mandolin and vocals; Critter Fuqua on the slide guitar, banjo, guitar and vocals; Chance McCoy on the guitar, fiddle, banjo and vocals; Ketch Secor plays the harmonica, banjo, fiddle and sings; Gill Landry on vocals while playing the banjo and slide guitar; and Morgan Jahnig on the upright bass. It’s the combination of unique instruments and vocal abilities that make this group stand out among other bands.

Old Crow Medicine Show started off on the streets of New York and Canada, where they gained a small following. However, it was in North Carolina where they garnered attention from Doc Watson - a bluegrass singer, songwriter and guitarist. He invited the band to come play at MerleFest, a traditional music festival held in North Carolina, and that performance helped put them on the map.
