Oklahoma Sooners Women’s Basketball Tickets

Norman, Okla., home of the University of Oklahoma, has been the site of many fantastic sports accomplishments over the years, and the school’s women’s basketball team has been responsible for many of them. With three Final Four berths and 16 NCAA tournament appearances to its credit, the Sooners are one of the most successful teams in women’s college basketball history. Come see these ladies bring their eye-popping level of skill and determination to the court, and buy your Oklahoma Sooners women’s basketball tickets today.

The Sooners have taken their game to a whole new level since the turn of the century, making 14 straight tournament appearances between 2000 and 2013. That’s even more remarkable considering that the program had fallen on tough times in the 1980s and ’90s, even being discontinued for eight days in 1990 before vocal protests from program supporters led to its reinstatement.
Much of the credit for that resurgence goes to Sherri Coale, who was hired as the program’s head coach in 1996. Although she had only coached high school basketball until that time, Coale was able to quickly adapt to the college game and lead her charges to the heights they now occupy.
