St. Augustine, Florida
By Beachbum from St. Augustine, Florida on 9/19/2010
Crowd Was In To It
Poor Set List
Best For:

Sounded great, but seemed to care less about being there. Didnt play 2 of their most popular songs. Sax player was awesome as usual, but Marc Roberge seemed to be bored.

there is NOTHING like an OAR live show
By NurseCathy from lancaster ma on 8/1/2010
Best of the BEST, Crowd Was In To It, Engaging Stage Presence, Great Encores, Great Lighting
Best For:

These guys have EARNED the reputation of the one of the best live show bands out there. Crowd ranged from 10 to 70, and the show rocked for two solid hours. They can't play everything, but they vary their sets and you can tell they truly appreciate the enthusiasm of the crowd. THANK YOU OAR

Great concert - Annoying Kids!
By ML from Newton Center, MA on 8/11/2008
Engaging Stage Presence, Great Encores, Great Lighting, Great Sound, Perfect Set List, Played For A Long Time
Best For:

Honestly, just like all concerts, the obnixious, drunk/high little 15 year olds were extremely aggrevating. Maybe they are legal to drink, but they look extremely young! I'm only in my mid 20's, so not that much older, but these kids were just terrible. Security guys were great in kicking the kids out who didnt have tickets to front row seats, which was great. But there were the few that still snuck in, knocked drinks over onto seats, fell over the chairs (which meant they fell on top of you) and pushed you aside to climb over the seats. Besides that, great concert!

O.A.R. Concert Tickets

A unique combination of an alternative rock and jam band, O.A.R. has been among the most popular bands in the United States for more than 15 years. The band has become especially popular with high school and college students thanks to their now-legendary live shows, and O.A.R. tickets remain a highly sought after possession.

O.A.R. can trace its roots back to the mid-1990s, when the band earned a loyal following around the Ohio State campus. Despite a limited release, the band's 1997 debut The Wanderer became a big hit as tunes like "That Was a Crazy Game of Poker" and "Get Away," spread thanks to word of mouth. By the end of the decade, they had become known throughout the country.

Over the next several years, O.A.R's popularity continued to grow, and by 2006 it reached a point where more than just college students were listening to them. In 2008, their sixth album All Sides hit record stores, and the track "Shattered (Turn the Car Around)" became the band's biggest mainstream hit at the time. While the band shared the stage with big names like John Mayer and Colbie Caillat, they continued to stay true to their roots and toured with smaller jam bands.

In the years since, O.A.R. has remained a staple during the summer concert season, and their 2011 album King debuted at number 12 on the Billboard 200 chart. Seize your chance to see a jam band classic; purchase your O.A.R concert tickets today!
