Not So Silent Night Concert Tickets

When most people think of Christmas concerts, the first image that comes to mind is one of quiet reverence and classic tunes, but Not So Silent Night has helped break the mold. Hosted by San Francisco's Live 105, the annual holiday tradition has welcomed some of the biggest names in the music industry over the years, and anybody who picks up Not So Silent Night tickets is surely in for a Christmas treat.

The yearly concert has largely been focused around the alternative music scene. In 2011, the show brought together everyone from Mumford & Sons to Florence and the Machine to Jane's Addiction and the recently-reformed British rockers Bush.

The 2012 incarnation of Not So Silent Night continued the tradition. Headlining the event was "Take a Walk" electro-rockers Passion Pit, who had one of the most successful years in pop music. Other bands who took the stage at Oakland's Oracle Arena included M83, The Killers and Imagine Dragons.

Alternative music and the Christmas season may not seem like they go hand-in-hand, but anybody who has attended Not So Silent Night in the past can attest that you can't always judge a book by its cover.
