Nickel Creek Concert Tickets

Nickel Creek is an American country music/bluegrass band that is best known for its life-affirming proclamations and eclectic tastes. These features can be found in many of Nickel Creek’s songs, including "Reasons Why," "When You Come Back Down," "This Side," "Speak" and "Doubting Thomas." The band’s appeal stems from honest, youthful expressions of love, relationships and unadulterated wholesomeness. Purchase your Nickel Creek tickets today and enjoy a night full of pure, innocent music.

The trio consists of guitarist Sean Watkins, his sister Sara, who plays the fiddle, and banjo player Chris Thile. The three musicians began playing together in 1989 as preteens performing at the same music studio in San Diego. They decided to get together as a band and play at a local pizza parlor that promoted bluegrass music at its location. In 1993, Nickel Creek released its debut album, Little Cowpoke, which was followed by its 1997 sophomore effort Here to There.

Nickel Creek’s professional career reached a milestone when it was presented with the opportunity to work with legendary country music star Alison Krauss in 2000. The group invited Krauss to produce multiple songs on its third, self-titled album, which eventually received two Grammy nominations: Best Bluegrass Album and Best Country Instrumental.
