Great Venue

The seats were a surprisingly good value. The Garden is an excellent hockey venue with good views from all seats. The arena is clean and well maintained. As for the intangibles: The Rangers at the Garden, Whoa! And, Vs. the Capitals (who overcame a 4 goal deficit to win 5-4 in OT). For an out of town visitor its doesn't get much better.

I have never experienced anything like that in my life! amazing atmosphere, the vibe in there was unreal, not to mention the Rangers (home team) won in shootouts after tying the game with only 8 seconds left in regulation time.

I had never seen a hockey game before (we're Australian and live in London, UK - so never had the chance)... but we LOVED it! We had fantastic seats (Section 107, Row A, Seats 9 & 10) which makes a big difference too. It's a shame the Rangers lost though... :S

I bought these tickets for my husband who is a die hard hockey fan. We are from the St.Louis area, so his team of choice is the Blues. I did not know if he would get anything out of seeing another team but he went wild. He met new friends and the teams were very hard hitting. I loved it and so did he. We are trying to decide our next location to see another out of state team play.

My boyfriend is a die-hard Ranger fan so I surprised him with the tickets and he loved it. The game was amazing (it was the only one against Pittsburg that they won), the crowd was awesome and the seats were perfect.

These tickets were for my son's birthday. He plays minor pro hockey and is a Ranger fan living in Pittsburgh. He travelled to NY from Pitts for the game. He said he would do it again. And he had to be back for work in the A.M., in Pittsburgh!

We had really good seats and really enjoyed the game. Only slight downside, if there was one, was the cost of the tickets over and above the face value. Guess that's the price of being able to book in advance from the UK.

Great Hockey Game but Obnoxious fans

My boyfriend took me for my 1st ice hockey game to see the NY Rangers v. L.A. Kings - we had a great time, at first, with great seats in section 119 until these 3 loud guys who were NY Rangers fans sat down next to us and began cursing and speaking in loud voices not caring about everyone else around them. They got up and yelled at other fans, heckled cursing at anyone who dared to show up supporting Islanders or Kings. Someone complained to an usher and they got a 'warning card' of ejection if someone complained about them again. Then after the 2nd period of the game, someone sat down in front of us who didn't belong there and began smoking. He tried to do it slyly - you could tell everyone around us was bothered by the smoke which is "prohibited" at Madison Square Garden but the security doesn't effectively take care of it so people get away with it. It ruined the experience for us and we got out, left our great eats and didn't return to the game. What started out great became awful because of rude and disrespectful fans. If you plan to attend an ice hockey game at MSG, be aware you may encounter such people. Try not to let it ruin your experience as it did ours. MSG is great and the game was great.

We attented the Game as German tourists and it was a great experience to see NHL live. It was a great show and a great game in the most exiting arena in the world! I would recommend to attend at least one Game in the Garden!

For Christmas I gave my husband 2 tickets to the Rangers game at which Brian Leetch's number was retired. The seats were awesome; right on center ice as described. The podium faced us so we had a clear view of each of the speakers. It was a wonderful, memorable night.

First time NHL game attendance and we (myself and sons) thoroughly enjoyed it. Give yourself at least 30 mins to get in to MSG and try to read up on rules beforehand, that said it did not spoil the event at all!

We were out of town Canadian "Vancouver Canuck" fans cheering for Ottawa as they kicked the Rangers butt that night..! We were sitting in section 305 - surrounded by BLUE jerseys and the most FUN FANS. Every Ottawa goal we cheered with the clapping of our baby fingers-and huge smiles, but we sat silently amoungst the loadest/wildest die-hard Ranger fans. Sitting beside us was a dad and his two sons from Switzerland "they didn't have a team to cheer for" but felt our excitment and desire to cheer with us -but DIDNT DARE.! The Ranger fans have to be the biggest SPIRITED FANS, they exchanged Christmas gifts along with rude/fun filled comments that entertained us throughout the game, although our Ottawa team was doing the same on the ice. Our memories are great and we will bring back the Ranger Fan enthusiasum to Canada.! One tip "Be on time in section 305" Thanks for the entertaining evening. We loved it.

I'm a Sens fan, but had to experience MSG. I had an awesome time. The NY Rangers played the NJ Devils, which was great b/c the stadium was filled with fans from both sides. The Rangers scored the winning goal 30 seconds into overtime. The ambience was amazing. What a great experience; I'm really happy I payed the price! Next time, I'll see a Rangers vs. Islanders game, or Rangers vs. Sens game.

The seats were great, exactly what I expected. Since there at MSG and like most stadiums now you could get a good visual of what the view would be like by checking out the MSG website. The game was amazing, and the experience in the stands was just as entertaining as the game.

52 years old and never saw a live hockey game, let alone a playoff in my life. My first live Madison Garden NHL Ranger game. Now I either need a giant screen high-def tv, or else season tickets!!! (I think they cost about the same?) Experiencing the NY Rangers live at the Garden, surrounded by 18 thousand+ people who feel the same way you do... it's awesome. It's so different than on TV. The ice shines, the Rangers logo is so blue. And when my heros came out onto the ice I thought my heart would stop. An anniversary gift to my amazing husband. RANGERS R # 1

Before a packed crowd, tight game 6 versus Buffalo. Extremly tense atmosphere and great game end with crowd chanting "Lets go Rangers" as team goes to lockers after 5-4 game.
