Exquisite performance of Beethoven.
Great show, great seats, great night
What a night it was...Kelsey Grammer was born to play this role, and the entire cast was so perfectly in sync with him...great voices, stage prescence by all, delightfully cockney hamming it up was Brian Dennehy...Charles Kimbrough was a perfect foil for Grammer to play off, and what can be said of Kelli O'Conner's singing...superb is not enough....It was nostalgic to see Marni nixon again in this show....."Oh, What a night!"....now where are my damn slippers

I am not a regular at an event like this , but always wanted to go. I had a picture in my mind of what it would be, and wasn't dissapointed. My only complaint was the casual attaire of most patrons. I associate the philharmonic with classy, educated, well dressed people and was appalled by the hats, flip-flops and jeans. I would expect a dress code.
