New Mexico State Aggies Basketball Tickets

Las Cruces, New Mexico, may not be considered a traditional hotbed of basketball, but the New Mexico State Aggies have spent the past century trying to give the city some semblance of that reputation. Playing organized college basketball since 1904, which wasn't long after it became an officially recognized sport, the Aggies have long strived to give basketball fans in the Land of Enchantment something to cheer about. Get your New Mexico State Aggies basketball tickets now to join in the tradition.

Lou Henson is probably the most famous former Aggie. He graduated from the university in the 1950s after starring on the school's basketball team. From there, he would go on to forge a career roaming the sidelines, coaching his alma mater from 1966-1975, then going on to a long, successful run at the University of Illinois. He would later return to Las Cruces after concluding his time at Illinois, with a return engagement that lasted from 1975-2005. New Mexico State is also one of just 34 schools to have had two of its alumni go on to have their jerseys retired in the NBA, with Sam Lacy and John Williamson earning that honor after their careers came to an end.
