The energy level was incredible
By Tom and Teri from Turlock, Ca on 12/22/2007
Pros:
High Energy, Stadium Packed, The Crowd Loved It
Cons:
There is no cons
Best For:
Everyone

This isn't like going to your hometown rodeo. The energy level was incredible. The start time was 6:45pm as listed and not one second later. From 6:45 there was no pause in action, every contestant and event went one right after the other, start to finish.

National Finals Rodeo Tickets

The National Finals Rodeo is one of the most prestigious championship rodeo events in the United States. Sponsored by Wrangler Jeans, this 10-day event features some of the nation’s most talented steer wrestlers, bareback athletes, bronco riders and bull challengers. Buy your National Finals Rodeo tickets today and watch America’s finest athletes take on raging horses and bulls in a special dirt ring.

The NFR is the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association’s final rodeo event. The world championship titles are awarded to the highest money earners in each event at this rodeo. Entrants can participate in a number of events, including steer wrestling (or bull dogging), tie-down roping (calf roping), barrel racing, team roping (divided into two leagues: headers, who rope the steer’s head, and heelers, who bind the steer’s hind feet) and saddled bronco-riding.

The first NFR was held in Dallas in 1959, where it stayed until 1961. Los Angeles had the honor of hosting the nation-wide event for the next two years. The NFR earned a landmark sponsorship with Wrangler in 2001, giving the tournament the widest audience in its history. The event remains so popular that there are multiple cities vying to take hosting privileges from Las Vegas.
