Nas Concert Tickets

The hip hop world is certainly not lacking when it comes to talented rappers, and Nas is among the best. Son of the famed jazz musician Olu Dara, he has become one of the most prolific artists of the last two decades, and fans who pick up Nas tickets are lucky enough to see truly an innovative performer.

After years of gaining popularity rapping underground, Nas first enjoyed mainstream success with his 1994 debut album Illmatic. Despite lukewarm sales, the record was a critical favorite and remains among one of his best-regarded albums thanks to songs like "One Love" and "Halftime."

Over the next several years, Nas' career started to fluctuate, but it all came back with the release of the 2001 album Stillmatic. The record marked a return to form and was a commercial and critical success, eventually peaking at number five on the Billboard 200 charts.

Nas has entered into many collaborative efforts over the years with other talented artists for both full-length albums and individual songs. One of these efforts was with supergroup The Firm which included AZ, Cormega, Foxy Brown and Nature. In 2010 Nas dropped Distant Relatives, a wildly successful collaboration with Damian Jr. Gong Marley. He has also worked with everyone from Missy Elliot and R. Kelly to Mariah Carey and Ludacris.

Since Stillmatic reinvigorated his career, Nas has had some of the most consistent output in the hip hop world, with albums such as Hip Hop Is Dead and Life is Good standing out as some of his best work.
