It was better than expected and I would go again next year!
The show was faithful to the Zep sound. Randy's vocals were outstanding - he hit all the notes. The symphony back up made the music sound studio-quality, yet the show still had a live rock vibe. Solos were outstanding. The crowd at Genessee sang along, but the venue was not appropriate for dancing in the aisles (though we were all standing by the end of the night). Was nice to see and not get pushed around. Crowd was some teens, 20s and 30s but mostly 40s and 50s. This is not a show for those expecting a symphony performance like Boston Pops. It is first and foremost a rock show. I loved it.
the concert was advertised as the music of led Zeppelin performed by the Milwaukee symphony. The was no mention of a band joining them. Bottom line- I am embarrassd
