Poison rocked...Motley Not
By c from Houston Texas on 6/12/2011
Pros:
Great opening act Poison
Cons:
Poor Sound Quality
Best For:
Adults

I was really disappointed with the Motley Crue performance. It seemed really disorganized...way too much time between songs. They slaughtered Home Sweet Home, and most of the other songs were difficult to listen to because the sound was so messed up. The best thing about the show was Poison.

Föuntain of Yoüth

Motley Crue took their performance to a whole new level in Cruefest-2 with, no-joke, the best concert I've ever seen. I offer my apologies to Metallica, GNR, Audioslave, Aerosmith, Rage Against the Machine, Soundgarden, Megadeath, etc, who've all put on phenomenal shows in their prime- just not THIS good. Otherwise, I'm not the type to bother writing a review. I was at Camden NJ for the first concert of Cruefest 2 and my fourth time seeing the Crue since 2005. In the three previous concerts, I went in hopes of simply being entertained by some great live music and rejuvenating memories of my youth when music was a big part of my life. They delivered, each time. But last Sunday it was different: they put on a performance that exceeded all expectations- I was on a (natural) high for days afterwards. They were the tightest I've ever seen them play. They were more passionate and energized about their music than I'd seen previously. Vince Neil capitalized on his talent for far-reaching vocal range and sang with the precision of a studio album. Tommy Lee and Nikki Sixx were flawless and powerful in their delivery, as well as entertaining, as always. Most impressive of all was Mick Mars. He carried the band with a phenomenal performance unlike any lead guitarist I've seen in concert. For lack of better words, his accuracy with every note was seamless, his delivery was potent/commanding, and his solo moments were captivating. Their decision to "re-release" the Feelgood album/tour was genius. Their performance probably challenges even their own best 20 years ago. Yeah, I'm definitely pumped about this concert… They didn't just bring back memories of my youth; their performance made me feel like I was transported back in time, proving (at least to me) that youth is not an age, but a state of mind.

Motley Crue Tickets

“Let Us Prey” that you scoop up your Motley Crue tickets before they are all gone!

Motley Crue, born circa 1981, is by far one of the most significant bands of the 1980s metal hair band era. Known as much for their hard partying ways as their hard sound, Mötley Crüe brought glam and guitars to a whole new level. A history littered with breakups, members departing, serious turmoil and reunifications are coupled with explosive live concert performances. There is nothing like Motley Crue tickets to secure an awesome, heavy metal packed occasion.

Mötley Crüe members Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars, Vince Neil and Tommy Lee joined forces in Los Angeles during early 1981, and pushed their first album “Too Fast for Love” out the door later that year. The band’s name is derived from the mind of guitarist Mars, who kept a phrase in the back of his mind that had been uttered years earlier about a band that he previously played with. Name in hand and album hitting the airwaves, Motley Crue took to the road. By the mid-1980s many incidents, including airport arrests and destruction of hotel rooms, had become the band’s best form of PR. Continued success saw the band release smash hit albums including “Shout at the Devil,” “Theatre of Pain,” “Girls, Girls, Girls,” “Dr. Feelgood” and “Mötley Crüe,” as well as a handful of other titles. The Crue has collaborated with Buckcherry and shared a bill with Aerosmith, Megadeth, Poison and the New York Dolls. Each member of Motley Crue lives in infamy the world over, as well as the band being infamous as a unit.

Witness the breadth and energy that is a live Motley Crue concert and take away a piece of musical history. A great performance anytime, the reviews from concertgoers shout “best live concert ever,” “they are still the best” and declare that Mötley Crüe is a great live concert experience!
