Monty Python Live Theater Tickets

One of the greatest sketch comedy troupes to ever grace the stage or screen is back! The remaining members of Monty Python - John Cleese, Eric Idle, Michael Palin, Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam - have reunited to do a series of LIVE shows all over the world, and fans are clamoring to see the boys in what may be their last LIVE tour. Don't miss out on your chance to see the Flying Circus in person. Buy your Monty Python Live tickets today.

The five remaining members and Graham Chapman, who died of cancer in 1989, came to fame in 1969 when their surrealist comedy spectacle, Monty Python's Flying Circus, debuted on the BBC. Over the next five years, they would go on to become one of the most famous comedy groups in the world and influence generations of comedians, writers and musicians. In fact, their influence on the comedy world has been compared to the impact The Beatles had on music.

With such classic bits as The Dead Parrot sketch, the "Lumberjack Song," the And Now for Something Completely Different segments and Gilliam's wild, fantastical drawings, the Pythons became an intrinsic part of modern culture.

When the TV show finally came to an end in 1974, it was far from the end of the group, as they went on to make several feature films, including 1979's "The Life of Brian."
