Monster Magnet Concert Tickets

Rock and roll may have originated in the 1950s, but it is still popular to this day. The musical group Monster Magnet has taken the sound of classic rock and infused it with hints of other genres like punk, metal and even some psychedelic influences. Rock the night away with the members of this one-of-a-kind band by getting your Monster Magnet tickets now.

Monster Magnet originated in 1989 thanks to Dave Wyndorf, who had previous experience in the music industry playing with a punk band called Shrapnel in the late 1970s. Wyndorf recruited fellow New Jersey natives John McBain on guitar, Tim Cronin on vocals, Joe Calandra on bass and Jon Kleiman on the drums to join together and form the band. Together, they began to create music that helped them stand out from the typical rock sounds of the era.

It only took Monster Magnet three short years to sign with independent label Caroline Records. That same year, in 1992, the band released its first full-length album, Spine of God. Their popularity continued to grow after going on tour with Soundgarden, another famous rock band that formed shortly before Monster Magnet. Fans weren't the only ones picking up on the talent of this unique rock group - A&M Records ended up issuing Monster Magnet's major label debut, Superjudge, in 1993.
