The game was fantastic and the seats were great. Sitting up a little higher allows you to get a better view of the ice and all the action. We went on a Monday night and the place was packed. A really fun atmosphere. Good for all ages!!

Pros:
Fans friendly, Great Atmosphere, Sabres won, Stadium Packed

Plenty of other Sabres fans on hand to celebrate the game with. Arena next door to our hotel, and plenty of Sabres fans were in the bar at our hotel before the game. It was great!

Minnesota Wild Hockey Tickets

Those looking to get a taste of the wild might have to head to Minnesota to do so. This is because the Land of 10,000 Lakes is home to the wildest NHL team in the league, meaning fans who pick up Minnesota Wild tickets to see a game firsthand are sure to be impressed.

The Wild play their home games at Xcel Energy Center located in St. Paul, Minnesota. Part of the Western Conference of the NHL, the Wild was founded in 1997 - though the franchise didn't start playing until the 2000-2001 season. With a late start to the game, Wild fans have had to suffer the ups and downs of each season - it took six games for the team to win its first matchup in its initial NHL season.

The team played their first game at Anaheim, California, losing to the Anaheim Mighty Ducks, now called just the Anaheim Ducks, 3-1. It would not be until five games into their freshman season that the Wild would take home their first victory against the Tampa Bay Lightning. In the beginning of their second season the Wild made a decent showing, only to slump into last place by the end.

Still, Minnesota fans were keyed up to have their first professional hockey franchise back in state since the departure of the Minnesota North Stars in 1993. This excitement translated to fantastic sales for Minnesota Wild tickets. Going into their junior season the Wild were high on the league scoring list before tumbling in the second half. Regardless, the team made it to the conference finals and beat the favored Colorado Avalanche before falling to their Anaheim foes.

Post-lockout the Wild made their first serious run at the Stanley Cup Finals when they secured the Northwest Division title in 2008. While they triumphed over the NHL powerhouse the Calgary Flames, they fell to the Colorado Avalanche after six games. The Minnesota Wild continues to punch it up on the ice in the hopes of regaining another shot at the hard to pin down Stanley Cup.

While Minnesota is home to other professional teams including the Twins, Vikings, Lynx and Timberwolves, the Wild is the only franchise that calls the St. Paul area home. All other leagues play home games in the Minneapolis region. Fans looking to show their home team spirit head to the Xcel Energy Center to hear the call of the wild. Hockey enthusiasts got their first thrill during the 2002-2003 season, when the Wild made its first playoff appearance and went all the way to the Western Conference finals.
