Great experience..pity about the result

I traveled from Barcelona, Spain to see my Cincinnati Bengals play the Vikings last year. We lost which was disapointing but I had such a great time joking and having fun with Viking fans. I have been to away games in all types of sports all over the world and I have to say Viking fans are the best fans I have ever met on my travels. They made the whole experience so much fun and are an example to sports fans. everywhere.

Minnesota Vikings Tickets
Since joining the National Football League in 1960, the Minnesota Vikings have been one of the most regularly consistent teams. Year in and year out their players compete for the NFC North crown, and their equally passionate fan base rallies behind them, making Minnesota Vikings tickets some of the most popular in the league.

Established in 1961, the Vikings originally applied for membership in the AFL but were offered a spot in the NFL and took it. The Minnesota Vikings are members of the North Division of the NFC. Although they joined the league in 1960, play for the team did not commence until 1961. It wasn't long after they formed that the Vikings became a regular contender.

Their first regular season game was against the Chicago Bears with a score of 37-13. The Vikings boasted a record of 12-2 in 1960, the best in the NFL. At the time, they had the longest winning streak with 12 victories. In 1969, they captured the NFL Championship, and the 1970s saw them rise to be one of the most successful franchises in the league. They played the Cleveland Browns for the NFL Championship game in 1970 and won by a score of 27-7. The team’s successes brought a high demand for Minnesota Vikings tickets.

Led by a powerful defense, known as the Purple People Eaters, the Vikings won three NFC Championships during the 70s. They played in Super Bowl XI, their third and fourth Super Bowl and NFL Championship games respectively, against the Oakland Raiders but lost 32-14, unable to shake their bad Super Bowl luck. Although they did not come up with Super Bowl victories, their prolonged success is the stuff of NFL legend.

In the years since the 70s, the Vikings have continued to put up winning season after winning season. There have been many highlights - including 1998 when they went through the regular season 15-1 (one of the few teams to do so) before falling in the NFC Championship game. In 2002, the team slid over to the NFC North, putting them in direct competition with rivals old and new including the Detroit Lions, Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers.
