The game was really great! Very high energy game with a great staff at the Target Center. Got to go down to court side seating to watch shoot around before the game!! Can't wait to go back!

The team was founded in 1989 with the granting of new expansion teams by the National Basketball Association’s (NBA). The teams first year on the court led to a painful 22-60 record, one of the lowest records in the league. The subsequent firing of Bill Musselman, head coach, led the Timberwolves to some of the worst records in basketball history in the following years. The drafting of Kevin Garnett in 1995 coupled with the skill and talent of later draft Wally Szczerbiak helped propel the Timberwolves to their first Divisional title win in 2004.
