Miami HEAT Basketball Tickets

Always known by their Miami Heat title, the team was born in 1988 alongside the Charlotte Hornets as an expansion franchise. The HEAT, based in Miami, Florida, has a history of hard fought and serious play. Will the HEAT own this season? Don't miss a moment of the action; purchase your Miami HEAT Tickets today!

Of all the teams to enter the NBA over the last 30 years, few have been quite as successful as the Miami HEAT. Since it began in the late 80s, the franchise has enjoyed a large following in Southern Florida, many of whom make a point to pick up Miami HEAT tickets whenever they become available.

The Miami HEAT became part of the NBA during the 80s explosion of team additions to the league. The teams first year on the court led to a pitiful 15-67 record, one of the worst records in the league. Then the drafting of Steve Smith in 1991 coupled with the skill and talent of Rony Seikaly and Glen Rice launched the HEAT into the NBA playoffs for the first time.

Four years later, the team acquired center star Alonzo Mourning. Their time in the NBA helped the HEAT become a staple of the post-season. They first began to hit their stride in the 90s thanks to the guidance of legendary coach Pat Riley and the skill of Alonzo Mourning and Tim Hardaway. The trio helped set the stage for what would prove to be a rise to power during the 2000s. During their 10-year anniversary the Miami HEAT celebrated by winning their second straight Atlantic Division (at the time) title.

In 2003, the HEAT selected Dwyane Wade, a move that would help shape the future of the franchise. It wasn't long before Wade rose to be one of the best players in the league, and in 2006 Wade led the HEAT to their first NBA Championship title when they upset the Dallas Mavericks in the finals. The 2002-2003 season began rebuilding efforts for the team with leaders such as Caron Butler, Eddie House and many others. The HEAT finally brought home a Championship title in 2006 after they defeated the Dallas Mavericks 4-2.

Wade was also instrumental in helping bring superstars LeBron James and Chris Bosh to the HEAT in 2010, and the so-called Big Three brought the HEAT a second title in 2012. The acquisition of LeBron James and Chris Bosh saw the HEAT's rebuilding efforts continued. Now members of the Southeastern Division of the Eastern conference, a few of the HEAT''s adversaries include the Chicago Bulls and New York Knicks.

A great ticket anytime, the reviews declare that a HEAT game is a great experience for the whole family. This year could belong to the Miami HEAT! Make sure you are front row at American Airlines Arena with your favorite players when you purchase Miami HEAT tickets today!
