I can't wait to see this again

First trip to NYC theaters. Loved the music and dancing-plot was funny, heart warming and sad with truth throughout the show. Glad they won best musical at the Tony's. Anticipate this show to be long standing!

Full of energy and marvelous performance

Concept is outstanding, and even educational. Music poignant to uproarious, but hearing every 14th word is unsettling; bass was really pounding. I would recommend "Memphis" but would also point out that there are several 'awkward' spots, e.g. the anticipation of fumbling footwork and rope-turning; expect that this happens fairly often and tends to take away from the number.

Memphis the Musical Theater Tickets
Dewey Phillips made waves in the 1950s when he became one of the first white DJs to play music primarily targeted toward a black audience. Though hard to imagine now, it was controversial at the time and now a new generation can find out exactly why by picking up Memphis the Musical tickets.
