Mayday Parade Concert Tickets

Mayday Parade is an American rock band from Tallahassee, Florida. They came together when members of the groups Kid Named Chicago and Defining Moment converged in 2005. Both bands had been friends and decided to take the best from each band and move forward, creating a new name for themselves. By getting your Mayday Parade tickets now, you'll be able to watch in awe as lead singer Derek Sanders provides explosive stage presence and energy.

They released their first album, Tales Told by Dead Friends, in 2005, under producer Lee Dyess. It wasn't until they went into the studio to record it that they decided on the name Mayday Parade. Similar to The Academy Is…, Boys Like Girls and The Early November, Mayday Parade draws on indie rock style and emo influence. Their catchy tunes and fun attitudes are what attracted fans, and continues to bring new fans into their following. Shortly after their first record, they came out with their second - A Lesson In Romantics - in 2007. After the album was completed, one of the lead singers/guitarists, Jason Lancaster, left the band due to personal reasons and would later go on to form the band Go Radio. Mayday Parade went on without Lancaster and is still producing engaging and energetic albums and shows for their fans.
