Matchbox Twenty is an American rock band originating from Orlando, Florida. The group formed in 1996 and since then has taken the world by storm. Group members consist of lead singer Rob Thomas, Brian Yale, Kyle Cook and Paul Doucette. Prior to the creation of Matchbox Twenty, Thomas, Yale and Doucette participated in a band called Tabitha’s Secret, also from Florida.
