Marshall Thundering Herd College Football Tickets
For a relatively small school, Marshall has one of the most stories histories in college football. For more than 110 years, the Huntington, West Virginia, school has produced some of the best players in the country, and fans continue to pick up Marshall Thundering Herd football tickets at a fast pace.

Marshall started its football program in 1895, and it wasn't long before it found success at the Division 1-AA (currently known as FCS) level. The 1920s and 30s were full of conference titles and helped lay the groundwork for decades of success yet to come. However, nothing would quite be like the 1990s.

In the 90s, the Thundering Herd was the winningest program at either Division 1 level and took home national championships in 1992 and 1996. After winning it all in 96, Marshall decided to make the jump to Division 1-A (currently FBS), and though some teams have trouble, the Thundering Herd made the transition work and today are a regular contender for the Conference USA Crown.

The continued success of the Thundering Herd is easy to understand with one look at who they've graduated to the NFL. Randy Moss, one of the all-time great wide receivers, played at Marshall, as did Super Bowl champion running back Ahmad Bradshaw and quarterback Byron Leftwich.
