Rocker Leon Russell was way ahead of his time in terms of musical talent, and continues to bring excitement to his concerts. Fans looking to see this rock god in person can do so by picking up Leon Russell tickets to see the expert in all his glory. See the Grammy nominated singer-songwriter in concert!

Even though Russell is credited with being one of the most influential musicians to date, his interest in entertainment began with gospel sounds at church. Church music might have first caught his attention, but by 14, Russell was lying about his age to land rock gigs at various nightclubs around Oklahoma. His raw talent and desire to make it in the industry led him to California just two years later, where he studied guitar with the great James Burton. By the 1960s Russell earned fame arranging music for hits like "River Deep, Mountain High," by Ike and Tina Turner and the Byrds' classic tune, "Mr. Tambourine Man."

After a slew of hits throughout the 1960s and early 1970s, Russell started his own label, Paradise Records in 1976. He married singer Mary McCreary a year earlier, and the duo collaborated on various records during the late 70s, including Make Love to this Music.

In 2009 Russell’s career was rejuvenated by friend and fellow musician Elton John when they teamed up on his new project, The Union. The album received rave reviews from publications like Rolling Stone which named it No. 3 on the 30 Best Albums of 2010. The following year proved just as successful for Russell who was not only nominated for a Grammy but also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

From his collaboration with greats like Frank Sinatra and Ted Nugent to his solo tours, Leon Russell is a musical genius, know for his must-see shows. Don’t miss out on your chance to get your Leon Russell tickets!
