Lehigh Valley IronPigs Baseball Tickets

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs are the minor league affiliate of the Major League Baseball team, the Philadelphia Phillies. The IronPigs play in the International League at the Triple-A level. The team is named after pig iron, an ore used in the manufacturing of steel, for which the Lehigh Valley region is known. The IronPigs’s home field is Coca-Cola Stadium, built in 2008 in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The stadium has a food and beverage area in home run alley called “the Bacon Strip.” Lehigh Valley IronPigs tickets are a great way for avid baseball fans to enjoy a professional-level ball game for a fraction of the price.

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs were formerly the Ottawa Lynx, and are the last team in the International League to transfer to the United States. They played their first season in Allentown in 2008 after the stadium was fully constructed.

The team’s mascots are named Ferrous and FeFe, in reference to iron. Ferrous, which means to contain iron, wears the atomic number for the element after which it is named, 26. FeFe simply the abbreviation for iron repeated.
