The best thing about this show was the rotating stage, which meant zero down time between bands. One band spun off, the next band was literally playing 30 seconds later. Sound was OK, lineup was great -- Perry Farrell doing mostly Jane's Addiction, Chris Cornell doing Soundgarden / Audioslave, and Foo Fighters, who are always killer live. Only the Pumpkins were a little weak, although by then a lot of the crowd (after 6-8 hours of drinking and rocking) was drifting off. Overall, great show.
Awesome bands with aweseom music!
This concert was AMAZING! Not to mention how great our seats were. We were sitting next to Chester Bennington of Linkin Park!!! He is the nicest guy. I felt like I was a teenager again listening to all the classic G N R and Alice in Chains. They both put on a great show. Axle was late, but well woth the wait. His vocals were right on and he had an incredible energy that was completely absorbed by the audience. Newer bands such as Pappa Roach and Avenged Sevenfold also did great. I will now look into following their music a little closer.
Excellent Seats!! I knew this was the concert I did NOT want to miss. The entire crowd was having a blast...one of the best time I've ever had!!! Thank you, you will be hearing from us again...REAL SOOOOOOON!!!
