i love kol and have since before evryone figured out what a great band they were...only thing is i was with a few relatively new fans yet enthusiastic ones... i would just suggest they focus on their more popular songs not completely but enough because i enjoyed evry song but the people i brought to the concert with me felt differently...i would seee them evry time they come to my state and live they sound as good as recorded wich is refreshing these days with all the one hit wonders out there,,this band is here to stay for loong long time!

Kings Of Leon Concert- San Diego, CA
By schnoogums boogums from San Diego, California on 9/23/2010
Pros:
Crowd Was In To It, Great Lighting
Cons:
Too Short
Best For:
Adults

When the concert started, one of the pyros didn't go off. No biggy. Everything else was great! They started with Crawl which surprised me, but went on singing/screaming. Caleb did apologize for the show being short. Not sure their shows seems real short. Would like to see their concert last a little longer than an hour. They have too many goodies to not play for their patiently waiting fans.

Better live than on cd!
By Followilll's Fan from Mansfield, MA on 9/22/2009
Pros:
Crowd Was In To It, Engaging Stage Presence, Great Encores, Great Sound, Perfect Set List
Best For:
Adults

They were simply awesome! The Comcast Center in Mass had some definite issues with parking, getting people into the place, etc.. but we got VIP tickets and the staff we dealt with was awesome! KOL were so great.. the fans around us ranged from Hard Core (knew every word to every song on all 4 of their albums) to brand new and really know only one song.. but everyong rocked with the band.. people were on their feet dancing all night.. tons of folks weathered the rain even! And KOL made it worth every second. They are perfectionists and it showed.. just a great show by a great band! I felt 10 years younger just being there!

This show was a nightmare. I was a really huge for of Kings of Leon but after the concert was over i realized they were not as good as i thought. Bad live music, they do not sound not even close like in there cd's, not impressive, not a fan anymore. Do not WASTE your money on this concert. Take care bye.

Kings of Leon Concert Tickets

Kings of Leon is a band of brothers, and one recruited cousin, Southern rock band from Tennessee. With a sound that merges indie pop and classic rock, Kings of Leon has taken America by storm since coming together in Nashville during 1999. The band’s original successes were in the UK and Europe rather than their country of origin. After years of being a smash hit abroad, Kings of Leon brought it home in 2008 with their internationally acclaimed album Only by the Night. The band has been critically acclaimed and widely recognized through a vast array of awards including multiple Brit and Grammy Awards.

Musical talent was waiting to be discovered in the Followill family with brothers Caleb, Nathan, Jared and cousin Matthew. Starting in 1997 the family began a crash course in Rock n’ Roll after getting off the bus of a strict, religious upbringing void of pop culture. Bands like Rolling Stones and The Clash became the new gospel for the boys. In 2003 the boys released EP Holly Roller Novocaine as an appetizer to their debut album Youth and Young Manhood. The EP received rave reviews from prominent critics and paved the way for their future. Singles “Wasted Time,” “Wicker Chair” and “Molly’s Chambers” helped propel the band to the top of the charts in the UK, Ireland and Australia.

Kings of Leon went on an incredible run of success in the 2000s, releasing more than five albums. Among them were Youth and Young Manhood, Aha Shake Heartbreak, Because of the Times, Only By the Night, Come Around Sundown and Mechanical Bull. Continuing to develop a more alternative sound, Kings of Leon kept churning out the music. Only By the Night solidified their presence as a chart topping band in the United States, driven by the singles “Notion,” “Sex On Fire” and “Use Somebody.”

Performances at Glastonbury Music Festival and Lollapalooza followed the band’s 2008 release. The single “Use Somebody” garnered the band a Grammy in 2010. The group’s sound has been likened to that of both garage rock wonders like Wilco and indie rock favorites such as The Strokes.
