Saw the exhibit back in the 1970's(amazing!!).... this is not even close. Even though they show "the mask" in all their advertsing...its no where to be found. Infact there is hardly anything. I was excited to show my husband what I experienced and what a pathetic let down! Dont waste your money...dont expect to see much ...they need to change their advertising.
Years ago (a few decades, lol), I went to the Tut exhibition in New Orleans. I was a kid, but what an impression it made. Seeing the masks and the sarcophagus, along with many other items, was amazing. I was so excited to take my wife, and then so disappointed in what we saw. When I got to the museum and the line was so short, I was wondering why the lack of interest. Now I know the reason. Word has gotten out that it's really quite lacking. It's neat to go to if you get cheap tickets and the line isn't bad, but don't expect much.

NO HEADDRESS, THe headdress was dropped years ago and no longer travels. No matter how many pictures they show promising you you will see it - IT IS NOT THERE Nor is there anything close to being that cool!!! There is good stuff but find discount tickets for $15 and the cost = the value. But don't be disappointed when you get to the last room and its not there as the photos PROMISE. FALSE ADVERTISING!!!

This is just a money grab. Most of the exhibit is not even from Tut's tomb and Tut isn't even there! Just a recreation. No Mask.. No sarcophagus. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you were hoping to see history watch it on TV. Very bummed.
