Killswitch Engage Concert Tickets

Killswitch Engage is an American metalcore band best known for hits like "In Due Time," "My Curse," "Always," "The End of Heartache," "My Last Serenade" and "Rose of Sharyn." By combining hardcore, metal and powerful melodies, Killswitch Engage rose to prominence in the American hardcore scene in the late 1990s and show no signs of slowing down. Buy your Killswitch Engage tickets today and enjoy a night full of epic songs.

Before the group formed, Killswitch Engaged members Mike D'Antonio, Adam Dutkiewicz, Joel Stroetzel and Jesse Leach were already enjoying a strong fan following. D'Antonio was the lead songwriter for the underground metal group Overcast, and Dutkiewicz and Stroetzel played the drums and guitar, respectively, for Aftershock. Leach was the lead vocalist for Corrin and Nothing Stays Gold.

Similar to groups like Sevendust and Machine Head, Killswitch Engaged began playing together in late 1999 and wasted no time releasing its self-titled debut album in June 2000. Killswitch Engaged's first album quickly earned it rave reviews from both critics and fans alike. Heavy riffs and powerful vocals ranging from low-pitched growls to signature screams provided an unmatched intensity in live shows. In 2001, the group signed with Roadrunner Records and began working on its sophomore effort, Alive or Just Breathing, which would be released in May 2002.
