I live in a tiny city in South Dakota and Kenny came to our County Fair and nearby casino to perform for us not once, but twice recently! I was just totally amazed that he agreed to come out to the sticks and put on concerts for us when he could have performed for millions at other cities. I am truly greatful I had the luxury of seeing the Songmaster of our era!

My husband and I saw Kenny perform at Myrtle Beach this past summer. The last time we saw him perform was over forty years ago, he is just as outstanding as he was then. He still has the voice, the personality and the showmanship. Don't plan on waiting another forty years to see him again!!!

Saw Kenny in 10' can't wait for 12' Show
By Jack Dunne from Wine Country, CA on 10/22/2011
Pros:
Crowd Was In To It, Engaging Stage Presence
Best For:
Everyone

One of the best shows I have ever seen. Not what I expected at all... Kenny is older now and the show is very casual, similar to what you might expect if he was a guest in your home. He is quite humorous, very engaging and more than just a bit personal. I have always been a Kenny Rogers fan, but after seeing his show in 10'... I walked away LIKING the guy as a person. The Gambler 6, starring him and COOLIO still makes me laugh out loud.

Kenny Rogers Concert Tickets

Over the last several decades, Kenny Rogers has grown to become one of the most beloved singers in the world. Country and pop fans alike enjoy the Texas-born performers classic hits and more than 50 years after he started taking the stage, Kenny Rogers tickets are still as popular as ever.

Rogers first got his start as the member of several different bands, but his big breakthrough came when he formed The First Edition in 1967. Joined by several musicians from a previous band, Rogers paced The First Edition to a number of hits including "Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In)" and "Reuben James." Despite the success, Rogers had yet to reach his highest point.

As a solo artist, Rogers became a household name in the late 70s thanks to the release of The Gambler. Often considered one of the best country albums of all time, The Gambler, is best known for its title track and the tune "She Believes In Me." In 1983, his duet with Dolly Parton "Islands in the Stream" shot to number one. Over the years Rogers has kept up his knack for collaborating with hits like "Calling Me," which featured Don Henley.

Ever since, Rogers has been a mainstay in the music world, and he continues to record and release new material even well into his 70s.
