Jurassic 5 Concert Tickets

Jurassic 5 is an American hip-hop group that is best known for hit songs like “What’s Golden,” “Quality Control,” “Concrete Schoolyard,” “Work It Out,” “The Way We Do It” and “Action Satisfaction.” Fusing funky beats and dramatic melodies, Jurassic 5 quickly became one of the most talked about hip-hop groups in the late 1990s. Buy your Jurassic 5 tickets today and enjoy a night full of classic raps.

Jurassic 5 was founded in 1993, performing in underground rap circles with just simple beats and powerful lyrics. The group, which consists of six members (contrary to what its name suggests), includes Mark 7, Chali 2na, Zaakir, Akil, Cut Chemist and DJ Nu-Mark. Coming from different rap crews, the sextet collaborated on a track and immediately felt chemistry. In 1997, Jurassic 5 released its EP, widely regarded as one of the freshest debuts of that generation.

The group continued to polish its skills in the recording booth and onstage, working with Fiona Apple and the rest of the Warped Tour artists in 2000. Jurassic 5 released the album Quality Control later that year, and with the success of the Warped Tour, earned tens of thousands of new fans outside of hip-hop.
