Journey concerts are always high energy. They are great musicians. We sing along to the songs and enjoy new songs too. They keep the crowd in it. They don't attract a rowdy crowd either. I frequent many concerts of different bands. Journey is one of my favorites because it's allot of fun and great hit music. I like to make a tradition out of frequenting these concerts with my twin teenage daughters.

Two of our favorite bands - Heart and Jorney - at Saratoga Performing Arts Center on Sept. 2, 2009. Heart was fantastic and we had very high expectations for Journey as well. Sound mix was horrible and really ruined an energetic performance by Journey. We walked out before an encore, as did many others who were seemingly wondering what happened to the sound.

The new lead singer jumped around the stage out of sync with the music, obviously younger than the rest of the group, his voice was amazing, but stage presence lacked maturity. Lead guitarist had too much emphasis and volume much of the time, his performance wasn't reflective of what Journey used to be. Many "where are the old songs we came to hear" comments.
