Johnny is playing better than ever. I just saw them at BB Kings in NYC he's playing new songs and has a new band and has added a second guitarist by the name of Paul Nelson who just smokes.

Johnny Winter was on fire at the Ark in Ann Arbor! One of his best shows ever and I've seen him 10 or 11 times. Page, White,Richards, and Clapton are in the same league. If you want to see the one of the best guitar players and shows in the world go see Johnny Winter! All his shows sell out.
Great show: Johnny's genius with the guitar is intact. He is still a virtuoso. His drummer Tony Beard is flawless behind Johnny and a GREAT SHOWMAN in his own right. A must see show. Edgar's enthusiasm and musicianship are outstanding. His lead guitar player could play with anyone. The band is tight and EXITING. My wife and I will see them again as soon as possible.
A great show indeed. It's hard not to appreciate a legend with so much talent. Still touring after all these years is a tribute to his love of music and his audiences. He's still Johnny Guitar.
