Fogerty rocks Wallingford
By Mr. Breeze from Shelton, CT on 10/26/2008
Pros:
Crowd Was In To It, Engaging Stage Presence, Great Encores, Great Sound, Perfect Set List
Best For:
Adults

Fogerty put on a great show. Considering the incredible catalog of classic CCR tunes he can pick and choose from it would be hard for someone to not have a good time at a Fogerty concert. I also really liked that his web site posted set lists from all the shows of the tour. Fogerty is an American classic and underrated as a guitarist.

Die Hard Fans would want more Credence Clearwater stuff. His more recent cuts are very good though. It's good to see him back.

The concert was so much fun! All ages were there - he played a great mix of favorite songs and new ones that are really good. It was great to see him with so much energy - he danced and jumped around the stage! It was a really fun concert and if you have ever liked a CCR or John Fogerty song, you would really love the concert. The set up was really great - small setting - perfect for the show!

John Fogerty Biography

John Cameron Fogerty achieved fame as the lead singer/songwriter and guitarist in Creedence Clearwater Revival and has since gone on to a chart-topping solo career. Born in Berkeley, California, Fogerty and his brother Tom organized the group that would become Creedence as the Golliwogs in the late '50s. As Creedence, they released nine Top Ten singles, all written by Fogerty, between 1969 and 1971, and scored eight gold albums between 1968 and 1972, all fueled by Fogerty's simple, driving rock songs and his burly baritone, intoning deceptively poetic and even political lyrics. After the band split up in 1972, Fogerty embarked on a successful solo career. ~ William Ruhlmann, Rovi
