My tickets were great 4th row. Joe sounded great but seems he has lost his edge, I was hoping for the old Joe jackson with an edge and attitude and got a melodic Joe that played mostly his new music which is OK but I really wanted to hear the stuff that made him popular in the 80's. So did the crowd. Get over yourself Joe and give the people what they want.
Joe Jackson gives his all to the audience. He is gracious and a gentleman. His act is not an "act."

Joe Jackson was funny and entertaining in between songs. He is a great piano player, but the sound was so off that it took away from his playing and voice. The bassist was fine, nothing remarkable. The drummer used an electronic kit which sounded terrible and he was way too overpowering.
Graham Maby on bass and vocals and Dave Houghton on drums were on thier game. The pace of the show was perfect and Joe Jacksons playing was better than ever. The songs from the new album, Rain sounded even better live. Go see this artist, I know we will be traveling to New York to see him again. The Somerville venue was perfect.
