Long Night for Short Sets

For the number of acts and the audience that they play to, this was one long night with little extra added. Other than the bigger name acts, each act played 4 songs (15-20 minutes) and then there was up to 45 minutes between acts. Total time was 6 1/2 hours at a venue that is nearly impossible to get out of quickly. Poorly planned and poorly presented.

[...]I really wanted to go to JIngle Ball Concert in NYC. I ended up buying the tickets and hour prior to the show starting. All i had to do was pick them up at a conveniant location which was right down the block from Madison Square Garden. It was great.

Jingle Ball Busted

The concept behind Jingle Ball is great - get a bunch of awsome acts together for one blow out show. Unfortunatly the flow from one act to the next was not very good - the breaks in between were to long and as a result the momentum was never able to build. Also not all of the acts on the bill showed up. The ones that were there were very good individually but the show just didn't flow well overall.
